Monroe Regional Airport is hosting a TSA PreCheck enrollment event this week with IDEMIA, an authorized enrollment provider, according to a City of Monroe release dated Oct. 6.
When and where
Enrollment runs Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 20-23, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. at the airport, 5400 Operations Road. Both new enrollments and renewals are accepted.
What to bring and what it costs
The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents. At the appointment, applicants show identity and citizenship documents, give fingerprints, have a photo taken and pay the fee. The city’s Oct. 6 release lists the IDEMIA fee as $76.75 for a five-year membership. IDEMIA’s enrollment site says new fees took effect Oct. 1, 2026, so confirm the current price when you book. The city says the process is faster if you fill out the application online first.
Most approved applicants get a Known Traveler Number in about three to five days, the release says. Add that number to your flight reservations to use PreCheck lanes.
Can’t make it this week?
The city says you can apply online and book an appointment at one of IDEMIA’s other enrollment centers through the TSA enrollment site.
